Pro Active is a "beta tester" for Philips NXP, the leading European semiconductor producer. We also develop and provide solutions and equipment for SAGEM Défense & Sécurité, JCDecaux, Gemplus, Thales, Hewlett-Packard and Atos Origin.
Our technologies are therefore present throughout the world, in complete discretion. What do a Belgian citizen using his electronic ID card, a Macao public transport user and a Medellin (Columbia) metro user all have in common? The technical excellence developed by Pro Active's engineers!
A series of success stories
In its eight years of existence, Pro Active has already registered many of them. Amongst the most compelling chapters of this "success story", the launch of the Vélib' ranks high. Indeed, the stations of the free-access bicycle network developed by JCDecaux for the city of Paris use Pro Active's no-contact smart card readers. Another milestone in the company's history is the supplying of access control systems for the sensitive areas of Aéroports de Paris (ADP) and the equipping of mobile terminals for Thalys' train personnel.
Strong partnerships
Pro Active has built close relationships with several high-caliber training institutions. We therefore collaborate with the University of Limoges' MSI laboratory, which is now a part of the mixed XLIM research unit, not to mention Lyon's central school. The goal of these partnerships, which are based on the exchange of both skills and knowledge, is to favor the emergence of tomorrow's technologies.
