• PRO ACTIVE INTRODUCES SPRINGCARD
Founded in 2000, Pro Active has quickly evolved into a recognized smartcard reader expert for identification, security and access control. Pro Active is known for its competence and responsiveness.
At the salon Cartes2008, Pro Active will introduce its new global brand SpringCard Springcard distributes Pro Active's entire line of contact and contactless smartcard readers/encoders worldwide.
Denis Pietersoone, CEO of Pro Active explains this change: “When I created the company, Pro Active, I did it with the thought of pursuing my product research activities in mind. Pro Active was a name that, for me, evoked service, professionalism, activity, forward-thinking, and responsiveness. Today, research is still part of our company, but the manufacturing, development, and promotion of our products represents 90% of our activity.
The first product that we had a mission to develop and manufacture for a customer other than our primary shareholder at the time was SpringCard-CF, a smartcard reader for Pocket PC.
Now it is time to unite our resources and increase the effectiveness of our communications and marketing activity. In order to do this, we have decided to promote worldwide the brand SpringCard for our products.”
